PIPC recently submitted a comment letter on the Patient Centered Outcomes Research Institute's (PCORI) Patient-Centered Patient-Centered Economic Outcomes Landscape for Considering the Full Range of Outcomes in PCORI-funded research. |
"We appreciate PCORI’s work to provide examples, allowing for each study to use effective engagement strategies to identify patient-centered outcomes that present a burden or economic impact on patients," wrote PIPC Chair Tony Coelho. "We look forward to the final version emphasizing engagement with the communities and organizations that represent the patient and disability populations as collaborators in developing and implementing strategies to capture the burdens and economic impacts in a study"
