In a letter to House Energy and Commerce (E&C) Committee Ranking Member Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-WA), the Partnership to Improve Patient Care (PIPC) provided feedback on the Republicans' request for information (RFI) entitled "Disability Policies for the 21st Century: Building Opportunities for Work and Inclusion."

"We are grateful that you are aware of and prioritize advancing legislation that will bar the use of the QALY across Federal programs, the Protecting Health Care for All Patients Act," wrote PIPC Chair Tony Coelho. "We strongly support a comprehensive ban on the use of the QALY in federal programs and urge that the legislation be reintroduced in the next Congress to include a bar on the use of QALYs within the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation as well."
